There's enough adventuring and exploration to do to keep you playing for some time, with several different routes through the manor and plenty of areas to discover. Escape From DeVil Manor is quite a joyous little romp for younger gamers. You've got a companion called Wizzer who's there to help out if you get stuck, while you can also switch perspectives in order to make exploration a bit easier and there's a selection of difficulty levels in case it all gets a bit too tough. The game itself is a sort of puzzle adventure, where you must explore the manor, looking for puppies, solving puzzles and playing through various mini-games and activities in order to progress.

This one is inspired by the movie rather than being based on it, and sees the player in control of a new puppy character called Patches whose job it is is to escape Cruella DeVil's manor while rescuing all the other poor puppies the evil old hag has kidnapped. This one packs the expected high production values in with some enjoyable adventuring and should be part of any Disney fan's collection, alongside Aladdin and Lion King.

The visuals aren't even decent, and the gameplay is terrible.Disney works its magic once again, in this enjoyable kids adventure based on another of its enduringly popular animated movies. But in 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue we only get a 3D underdeveloped game that just feels empty and lacks all style. It's sad to see what happened to Disney games, as they used to be high-quality games like the Lion King and Aladdin. Once you get them all you unlock a special secret scene. And there’s also the sticker collection, where you can get different “stickers” (which are more like puzzle pieces) and collect them all. There are some special minigames in the game where you can go through different mazes or find the hidden bone while digging and stuff like that. These mechanics are not polished at all, and the control feels clunky at best, with most interactions feeling awkward. You get to use attacks like biting, jumping, and rolling, but you can also run around, dig, and jump to explore the levels. But even though it’s probably the most similar game around, 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue just falls far behind Spyro. If we had to compare this game to anything out there, the closest thing would probably be Spyro The Dragon. Now you have to save the stolen dalmatians and defeat Cruella’s evil plan. So she gets their line of toys programmed to steal the puppies. She finds out that the kids are spending money on their puppies and dogs instead of buying toys.

The game tried to make an original story where for some Reason Cruella starts selling toys, but they are not selling well.
